It’s easy to look at someone who’s done something extraordinary, like climbing Mount Everest, for instance, and say, “Wow, what a great accomplishment! That person must have trained and prepared a lot in order to do that.”
But is it really all about being prepared enough? About being skilled enough?
I believe no matter how long we prepare before approaching a certain challenge, no matter how good our skills are and how much knowledge we think we have, there will always be unexpected difficulties along the way. No matter how prepared we think we are, there will always be things that we feel we can’t deal with and we’d rather give up.

We all want instant breakthroughs, but the truth is, accomplishing great things and reaching extraordinary goals takes time. Sometimes, a lot of time. And you may go through long periods, even years, feeling like you haven’t made any progress at all, while you actually have. Most of the time transformation springs daily, from little steps that you don’t even notice. But if you’d look back after a year or two, you’d realize that things in your life have actually changed.
Adopt a warrior attitude and ruthlessly pursue great things!
Warriors fight mercilessly. They don’t give in to fear.
Warriors are aggressively persistent. They don’t quit under pressure.
Warriors stay focused. They don’t let themselves distracted by insignificant things.
Warriors help & lift others up. They don’t whine about their own wounds.
Warriors celebrate their progress. They don’t diminish their victories, no matter how small.
Warriors are always prepared. They never go to war unfit for battle or without training extensively.
Warriors are relentless. They never give up and never stop pursuing their goal.
No matter what your circumstances are, you can choose to keep on going. To keep on fighting for the purpose in front of you. This is what being intentional is all about. It’s about being relentless. About using every bit of your passion to fuel your faith. When you’re passionate about something, you always find a way, you always find hope. You can choose to never give up. You can choose to experience the life God wants you to have.
